1. About these terms

findyoureveryday.com ("Find Your Everyday", "we", "us") is run by Unity Industries LLC, a company registered in Alabama, USA. By using the site, buying the guide or booking a consultation, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

You must be at least 18 to buy anything from us.

2. Information, not advice

Everything on the site, including the city-fit survey and its results, city descriptions, rent and cost-of-living figures, the offer calculator, the Teach in China guide, our posts and our consultations, is general information and our own opinion and experience. It is not legal, immigration, visa, tax, financial or employment advice, and it doesn't create a professional relationship.

• Survey results compare your answers with our own ratings of each city. They're a starting point for your own research, not a prediction of how happy you'll be.
• Prices, rents, salaries, exchange rates, visa rules and employer practices change often and differ from person to person. Figures come from our experience and third-party sources (such as Numbeo) on the dates shown, and may be out of date or wrong for your situation.
• Check anything important, especially visas, work permits, contracts and money, with official sources or a qualified professional before acting on it. You're responsible for your own decisions.

3. The Teach in China guide

Buying

The price is shown on the sales page and at checkout, in US dollars, and is a one-time payment. Payment is handled by Stripe. Your bank may add currency conversion fees. Once Stripe confirms payment, we email a sign-in link to the address you used at checkout.

Access

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to read the guide online and use its tools for your own job search, for as long as we offer the guide. Sign-in links work once and expire after 30 minutes; you can request a new one any time from the "Access your guide" page. We may update, correct or reorganise the guide; you keep access to the current version. If we ever stop offering the guide, we'll give buyers at least 30 days' notice by email.

Please don't

• share your sign-in links or access with others, or let others use your account;
• copy, republish, resell or distribute the guide or large parts of it (short quotes with credit are fine);
• use automated tools to copy the guide, or try to get around the sign-in.

If you do, we may end your access without a refund.

4. Refunds

Teach in China guide: 14-day money-back guarantee

If the guide isn't what you needed, email hello@findyoureveryday.com within 14 days of buying, from the email address you used at checkout. We'll refund the full price to your original payment method, normally within 5 business days; your bank may take a few more days to show it. No reason needed. Your access to the guide ends when the refund is made.

After 14 days, sales are final, except where the law gives you more rights.

EU, EEA and UK buyers: the guide is digital content you can open straight away. By completing your purchase you ask to receive it immediately, so the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies once you've signed in. Our 14-day guarantee above still does.

Consultations

Consultations are booked and paid through Calendly. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the start time (using the link in your Calendly confirmation, or by emailing us), we'll refund you in full. Later cancellations and missed calls aren't refunded, but we'll reschedule the call with you. If we have to cancel, you can choose a new time or a full refund.

Problems

If something has gone wrong with a payment, please email us before disputing it with your bank, so we can fix it quickly.

5. Free resources

Free downloads such as the Essential Apps for China guide are for your personal use. You're welcome to share a link to them, but please don't republish or sell them. Apps and services they mention belong to their owners; we're not responsible for them and don't earn anything from them unless we clearly say so.

6. Our content

The site's text, design, survey, ratings, guide, tools, photos and logos belong to us or are used with permission. Apart from what these terms allow, you may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

7. Using the site

Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, get into areas you're not allowed into, interfere with other people's use, or use it for anything unlawful. We may change, suspend or remove parts of the site at any time.

8. Other services and links

Stripe, Calendly and other services we link to have their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them or for third-party websites.

9. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without guarantees that it's error-free, complete, up to date or always available, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost earnings, a job or move that doesn't work out, or decisions you make based on the site), and our total liability to you for anything related to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you haven't paid us anything.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away your rights as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA. If there's a dispute, please contact us first and we'll try to resolve it informally. If that doesn't work, it will be handled by the courts of the State of Alabama, USA, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring it in your local courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Changes don't affect purchases already made under the earlier terms, unless the law requires otherwise.
